Hey everyone!! This blog was created to discuss how apps are taking over mobile websites! Yes taking over meaning that websites on mobile devices are becoming not as popular due to the fact that people are resorting to apps available on smartphones. I guess to start we have to go back and talk a little about the history to find out how any of this could have happened. Lets get started. Here we go! In today’s society, so many people are attached to their smartphones
that life before smartphones doesn’t seem believable. Today people are attached to their smartphones when they are walking in the street, going to the bathroom, and doing basically anything. Well a very shocking fact for everyone to wrap their heads around is
that smartphones have only been around for seven years! Since 2007, when the
iPhone was released our world has never been the same. Our generation relies so
much on the different features that smartphones offer such as using apps,
having easy Internet access, and many other qualities. According to
eMarketer.com, 55.5 percent of U.S. mobile phone users currently own a
smartphone, and this number is projected to grow to approximately 75 percent or
192 million users by 2016! Thursday, December 4, 2014
