Who are smartphone users?

From the previous blog, one of the facts stated that 55.5 percent of U.S. mobile phone users currently have a smartphone. Lets break that down a little more referring to age range. According to the articles who are smartphone users by Andromeda Yelton, 80 percent of American adults own a smartphone. From that statistic, 40 percent of these American adults use smartphones to access the Internet, email, and instant messaging. The article Smartphone Users by the Numbers states that most individuals aging from 16-29 years old have a smartphone and desktop or laptop device. According to the graph, the lowest percentage of smartphone users aged from 13-17 years old. However, on the contrary 35-44 years olds are the most likely to own a smart phone. The age ranges between 55 and above also is a small amount of people to own a smartphone. The smartphone world continues to grow everyday with new users, so these statistics are continuing to change. The more people continue to want to stay up to date with the technology the greater the percentage of smartphone owners.
